Cf335ss slide

The bottom decking of the bedroom slide has water damage. I removed the bottom aluminum trim piece and the wood is damaged from the outter edge to about six inches inward. I'd like to try to repair this myself, has anyone else tried to tackle this project.

Can you get to it under the slide? Or must the slide come out?

I haven't, but this type of problem has occurred on main slides as well and other brands. If the damage is minor, there is epoxy that can be used to reinforce the wood so screws will hold. If damage requires replacement of the damaged wood, then at least all the repairs will be hidden under the bed (although removal of the mattress and bed frame will be necessary).

If you don't get any replies here, you might also post on some of the general RV forums.

I'm hoping from underneath, that's how i found it, it recently rained and i saw water dripping from one of screws of the underside of the trim piece.

Here's a product I used in the past on sidewalls that were water damaged. PC Products 24-oz. PC-Rot Terminator-240618 - The Home Depot
It worked great and returned the stability to the wall. I know the vice president of the company and just talked to him. He said it should work for you on the floor.

I removed the mattress and lifted the support. I don't see any indication of water on top part of the slide or along the wall only that outside outer edge. I do think i will have to remove the bed frame and also/maybe nightstand and wardrobe cabinet.

Ok thats good to hear, there's no foot traffic on that part of floor. It is for the bed, night stand, and cabinet.
