Hot water help please
I am camping and we have no hot water, there is some in tje tank but it isn't coming out. When I turn the bypass I get water out just not hot. My wife turned the cold water on in the bathroom and warm water came out of the kitchen faucet. 20170413_210503.jpg

If you have an outside shower, make sure both handles are closed. Sometimes people will turn off the shower head and leave the valves on, creating a mix of hot and cold water throughout the trailer. Lots of talk on it lately.

I will check that thanks. It built up some pressure over night but about 10 seconds after the valve is open it is done.

Be sure the water heater bypass valves are in the correct position, not the winterizing position. This site has a link with a picture if you do a search.

Everyone is right, you probably have the bypass valves incorrect. It built pressure overnight because heating the water in the tank caused it to expand. But with all valves closed, pressure increased. As soon as a valve is open, the pressure drops again.
