Looking For Sliding Door Tie Back Straps

Does anyone know where I can find the sliding door tie back straps that are used in the Sunset Trail models? My Volante came with the clear plastic straps that snap, and they are terrible! This is a brand new travel trailer and they unsnapped the first time we took it out! While driving, the doors slid back and forth and damaged the door when they banged against the snaps and the door frame. I love the straps on the Sunset Trail models that have the metal buckle that twists after attaching the strap, but I cannot find them anywhere. I sent an email to Crossroads and offered to buy them, but they never responded. I asked my dealer, and he said he would look up the part number and send me a set free of charge because I was having a hot water heater issue, but when I received them he sent me two new clear plastic straps like my model came with and that don't work. Any help in locating these would be greatly appreciated. We have to throw pillows on the floor to prevent the doors from being damaged while driving. Will post a pic of what we are looking for shortly.

I would check on Amazon as there are all types you can choose from. Mine are like a hair elastic on steroids that is attached to the wall on one side and has a hook on the other wall to stretch it to

Here's what I am looking for. Nylon strap with a metal buckle that twists to lock it down...

That would work well. You could make one yourself with the to ends and a piece of nylon 1/2" strap probably cheaper than buying one

Yes, they are very secure. All of the Crossroads Sunset Trail models with sliding doors had them. Amazon only has the clear plastic with snaps like mine came with... I would try to make them if I could find the clasps. I tried Lowes, Home Depot, Amazon, eBay, and every online RV parts store google would connect me to.

Try tiara rv in Indian or maybe makarovs. Check with your rv dealer I remember a dealer I had back In 2000 gave us this huge rv catalogue that had everything in it

You could probably make them using a web belt and these fasteners from Walmart, https://www.walmart.com/ip/JR-Produc...hment/55486005

Try a google search for "rv sliding door lock". Several options, maybe one will work for you.
