Forum Software Update Wednesday!

This Wednesday (Nov 13th) the forum will be updated to a new, more robust software platform, vBulletin.Many of you who are active on other internet forums will be familiar with this software as it powers most of the larger forums online.</span>

While this is undertaken, the forum will be offline (probably a few hours). During this time you will be unable to access the Board but once the update is complete you should be able to login as normal.

All posts and discussions will be moved to the new platform and there will be some new features available as well including ability to upload attachments directly to posts, member photo albums, additional messaging features and several other cool options.

We want to minimize the time the site is offline and so when we return you'll see some things that may still need to be tweaked. We'll work those quickly however and you can post if you are having trouble.</span>

The new URL will be www.crossroadsowners.com but you can still use the old url you have bookmarked, you should be redirected automatically.

Yes, I think so but it will have to be built after the site is moved. Look for that after the dust settles and any transition bumps are smoothed out.

Can't be soon enough, whole forum bombed again by the login_user.asp posts. Hopefully the new forum will correct a lot of this. I've never been on aforum with this many fake users able to post garbage.

While I've never liked the web wiz forum software, there are two
features I really like that would be great if you can incorporate into
the new sites:

1) one button to click to list all the new posts since your last visit
2) one button to mark all new posts as read !!!

if you click on new posts in top right corner it shows all new posts since last visit. The threads you've red are normal, the threads with new unread posts show in bold.
