Are the listed lengths accurate

Are the lengths listed on the Crossroads floor plan details from hitch to bumper for 5th wheels? I was talking with our current trailer storage location and they mentioned that some places listed 5th wheel length without including the length of what overhangs the truck. So what is listed as 31' is really 31' behind the truck and actually takes up 34-35' total.

We are looking at the Rezerve RFZ27BH which has a listed length of 30' 6".

You are correct. The model number almost always refers to the "living-space" and does not coincide with the actual length of the entire unit.

So does that mean the living space of RFZ27BH is 27' but the end to end is 30.5' as listed in the details?

Yes, that 30 & 1/2 feet is the outside dimension or towed length.

Perfect, thank you. I suspected the length listed was "tow length", and that answers my lingering question about what the model number stood for. I've heard folks say the model number was the "length" but then never saw it match the listed length.

So you're telling me that the bedroom of a 5th wheel is not considered living space???

I think there is no standard for measuring, and each manufacturer puts down what they think is right. I never had a rv, TT or 5er, that measured what was on the brochure or website.

In that case, the model number does not refer to the 'living space".

There is only 3 1/2' difference in numbers. Small bedroom then, lol

Ours is listed as a 330 and the brochure said it is 33'11" long. I measured it and it is indeed 33'11".

I have been told that the numbers mean nothing in relation to the length.

Help me out, think I'm missing something.
Is a zinger 27rl 27 ft of living space & 31ft 10 in long(bumper to ball hitch), with approx. 4 ft of tounge while a rfz27by being a 5er (think I'm correct) is 31ft +/- of living space but 27 ft behind tailgate oh bumper of TV?
