It will vary depending on time of year, in the spring when there are plenty of orders, lead times are likely to be longer. I say likely because when the factory is loaded, they may run larger batches of a specific model for efficiency and it might be awhile before your model is being built.
We ordered two units on the same day, Jan. 2011. They were scheduled to start assembly 3 days apart even though they were different models. However, they came off the assembly line just 24 hrs apart. The first one got lucky at the transport lot and was picked up immediately. Total time 3-1/2 weeks. The second one arrived the next day and proceeded to sit in the lot for 10 days. I would have thought that a delivery to Texas in Feb. would have been popular with the drivers, so the 10 day delay was kind of a surprise. So the second unit took 5 weeks. But my point is, neither the factory nor the dealer control the transport company and units are not moved, First In, First Out, so this is another variable.
