Comment on 2011 Sunset Trail TT

New to forum and to RVing. We have rented and camped with friends but have never owned our own.

Can anyone tell me about 2011 Sunset Trail ST29BH. I would appreciate any comments on quality, any negatives or positives about the ST29BH or similar models that year that you think I should know.

Also, can my 2007 Toyota Tundra 4.7L handle this tow? The sellers said it plenty but want to be sure.

Have you seen the unit? A few things to look at are: Has the font cap faded? If so was it painted? Look for bent axles and tire wear. Are the axles original? Are the tires wearing even? These are 2 of the more common issues with early ST's. Otherwise ours has been just fine and we use it a lot. Can't really speak to your tow vehicle without more info regarding it's payload and GVWR. It going to depend on those numbers and how many people/how much stuff you plan on lading in the truck to go camping.

8iron is correct on the axle issue. make sure they are not 3500# ones. Mine were switched to 4400 # and I am a 25 ft.
I had a 5.3 Chev last year and it was borderline in the hills.

It was a rainy few days at Algonquin Prov park...tarps kept us dry.
