Crossroads 32RL Hill Country

We are looking at a 2014 32RL, the people are asking 18k.
It has ripples in front only down above diamond plate covering. They were told it was from humidity & sun. Could we just cover it up with a piece of diamond plate (about 10")? Or would we just be covering a problem that needs fixed.. I'm also concerned with durability of these trailers, I've read so many negative things online but it is a really pretty trailer and I think we would be getting at a good deal if we needed to fix a few things to our liking. He accepted our offer of 14k, it seems like a great deal but are they coming off to much and eager to sell worries me, if we are missing seeing a larger problem. Any input or opinions are appreciated,. I want it, but I don't want to buy a headache.. Thanks a bunch. We have owned RV's before and my husband is very handy at making repairs.

Ripples are usually a sign of a problem under the skin. If it's starting to delaminate, it might be caused by water intrusion.

Totally agree with Lloyd -- better have that area checked out by a good RV repair facility or at least a good mobile RV service technician.

As for the Hill Country series of RVs -- we love ours! Gotta love the 50 amp service, dual ACs, and unique interior design elements.
