Difference between the Super Lite and Grand Reserve?

My husband and I had pretty much decided on a Sunset Trail 33bd which is part of Crossroads' Grand Reaerve line. Today, though, I saw online the Super Lite 330bh and like it also. The price for the Super Lite is about 10,000 dollars cheaper. Knowing that you get what you pay for, what accounts for the difference?

Have you compared them on CR's web site? Here are the specs for the two units you mentioned. There is quite a host of info there to allow for comparison.

Sunset Trail Super Lite Specs for ST320BH

Sunset Trail Grand Reserve Specs for ST33BD

Good idea to look at specs

I looked at the specs as Lloyd suggested but the only sizable difference was in the size of black and gray water holding tanks.

Price is often more dictated by market and demand rather than what you are buying. Not sure if that applies in the camper world.

When shopping for RVs, we have found that by waiting and keeping looking, it was possible to get significant discounts, simply by going to a different dealer. Costs to individual dealers vary, based on the volume of purchases they make, how long the RV has been on a lot, and how badly they want to get rid of it.

Keen family brings up a good point. Check the dates of manufacture on the information tag. One may have been sitting on the lit for a long time.

Actually according to my info, the difference in dealer cost excluding options is only $5k, the 33BD is just under $28k and the 330BH is just under $23k. So if there is a $10k price difference, either the Grand Reserve model has about $5k more options or an inflated price.

However, the Grand Reserve does have more features and options. It has solid surface kitchen counter top and raised panel cabinet doors, also a fireplace and fancier front cap. Probably more differences, but hard to see what they are with just a quick look. Only you can decide if the differences are worth $5k more.

The grand Reserve has a walkable roof and tongue and groove plywood on the flooring, slam latch cargo doors along with the other upgrades mentioned.

If it's like mine, the Grande Reserve also has tank heaters and more insulation.

The tank heaters and upgraded insulation come in the extreme weather package and are not standard on the Grand Reserve.

Power stabilizer jacks and power tongue jack are listed as options on the Super Lite but come standard on the Grand Reserve. I think everyone else hit the other highlights such as raised panel cabinets, fireplace, solid surface counter-tops, I-Cool gel mattress, and stainless steel kitchen sink.
