My wife and I live in Western NC (Sylva) and are purchasing our first 5th wheel (hopefully a 2005 Cruiser CF29RK). We have located one in Florida that belongs to the original owner and appears to meet most all of our needs. We had a relative look it over (she's never owned one) and send us several pictures that seems to show it is okay. Thus, we are taking the leap of faith to drive the distance. Ha! The owner is quite nice and letting us stay in the park for a few days if we purchase so we can get used to it, etc. If for some reason it doesn't work out we will, of course, continue looking. We have owned several travel trailers and tow with a 2007 F350 long-bed dually diesel. Just installed a B&W Companion hitch. Wish us luck!!

Good luck! That is the model we have and we love it! Short of not having much room for guests (which is not always a bad thing), it has everything we need. Safe travels.

Just checked out the floorplan for this model. I love the rvs with the bedroom slide, it makes a big difference. Hope you get lots of enjoyment from the fifth wheel.

Well, it didn't work out. There were too many issues such as extremely dirty inside, fiberglass coming loose below window, water leak under shower, and most importantly, the roof material was worn thin and outer roof fabric was not sealed around edges. Anyway, reluctantly decided not to buy because we loved the floor plan, weight, etc. Now, we are going to look at a 2004 Cardinal 29RKLE with same floor plan. However, it is close to 2000 pounds heavier. Will probably post another post to see what you Cruiser folks think about the Cardinal. Thanks to all who have helped me so far. Roy

Chief: There is a cardinal vs. cruiser thread in the forum already - do a search for cardinal.
