Hi all! We're in the market for a TT (our first!). We really like the look and layout of the ST29SS. I love the separate bedroom at the back for the kids. It would be nice to be able to put them to bed and still have access to the rest of the trailer in the evenings without disturbing them.

Our kids are very young; 3, 2 and 5 months. First, I need to figure out a way to make the bunk beds safe for the toddlers. Any suggestions? Second, will a pack and play fit next to the queen bed? It fits next to the bed in my in-law's motorhome (not crossroads). Third, are we crazy to attempt RVing with three young kids??

Thanks!!

No, you're NOT crazy for attempting RV'ing with young kids...you will make family memories that will last a lifetime! We have a (almost) 3 y/o and a 1 month old and we are heading out next week for the fitrst trip of the year. Our Pack and play willNOT fit beside the front bed. We put the rear dinette table down and it fits great there. The rear room is great for the reasons you mentioned. The bottom bunk is large enough for 2 young kids if you can get them to sleep there, if not Sears/Target etc. have bedrails that fit between the matress and bed base that keep kids from rolling out of bed during the night. WE absolutely love our ST29SS, so if you have any questions feel free to pm me with questions.

Thanks! I'll check out the bed rails. I probably need them on the bottom bunk too since the boys are still pretty young. That's a great idea to set up the pack and play in the rear room. It probably won't work for us this year since the baby is still waking several times a night (ugh!)... Definitely don't want him waking the other boys!

We plan on towing with a Ford F150, rated up to 9600 pounds. I've read through several forum threads on this topic and I'm fairly comfortable that it will work.

Thanks again for the tips!
