Well we are on our way up to Indiana to pick up our new CF27RL on Tuesday morning. We can't wait to see it for the first time. We plan on going through the Crossroads factory as part of the process. I want to see how these units are made.

I have never driven a 5th wheel so that will also be a new experience. I am used to how my F350 handles with a large Lance 1121 truck camper and hope that the Cruiser handles better.

We have planned a few days back to Greensboro, NC to enjoy the leaves and the new unit.

It's hard to believe that the wait (6 weeks) is almost over.

Yea!!

Congrats on the new unit, You will really enjoy the rear living room. Just remember to take the turns wide with a fifth wheel, because of the design it cuts inside of the tow unit.Ohter than that enjoy the trip an look at the leaves

Congrats!! We just sold our CF27RL and you will have no trouble with a 1 ton. I have pulled ours all over the place with a Chevy 2500HD Duramax. It handles it like a dream.

Going up to a 30SK Patriot for more kitchen area. Enjoy

Have fun with the new unit. You won't believe how much more room you are going to have.
We had a Lance also before this 5er. It's not big----but a lot bigger then the Lance.
Congrats.

Here's my report.

First, I amecstaticwith my new unit. It is awesome. I was initially concerned that I was getting a CF27RLX (CTX) versus a standard CF27RL. What a great RV. The CTX version is exactly the same except it comes with the new "Wide Stance" suspension, essentially eliminating any need for the equa-flex. It also comes standard with a 2 inchreceivermounted on the rear bumper rated for 3000lbs / 300tongueweight. How cool is that. I think all will be getting that going forward.

Wana RV in Shipshewana, Indiana (7 miles from the factory) did a thorough (that's an understatement) pre-delivery inspection and educated me on everything. They (Cary) were in no hurry and allowed me to ask a plethora of questions and take my time going though every inch of the unit. They get an A+.

We leavetomorrowfor our 660 mile trip back to NC so I will give more feedback on the driveability when I get home.
