New purchase

Just left the dealer. I purchased a Sunset ST33FR to replace my Cruiser Signature ViewFinder, 28 ft. Any info I need to know before my maiden voyage??

Congratulations on your purchase. I'm not familiar with your model but I'm sure someone who is will chime in soon. Welcome to the forum. Have you already completed your pre-delivery inspection and picked up the unit?

Start and try all of the appliances IE TV's make them show you the satilite hook ups. Turn on the furnace let the oil burn off of it. how to use the canopy. How to retract the slides just in case they will not come in.

Yes, basically, if it turns on make them show you how and see that it does. Good luck!

Also have them show you how to put the water heater in bypass mode for winterizing.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new rig.

If you don't have a PDI list, then I recommend you getting one and following it. Here is a link. Down load it and print it out. Give your dealer a copy so he knows what to expect when you come in for the PDI.
It would also be nice if you don't sign any paper work or give them any money until a satisfactory PDI is completed.

Look in our Document section for a PDI section.

Thanks for all the info!! I'm looking forward to camping with the new trailer. I am trading in a 28 Ft Viewfinder for the Sunset Trail ST33FR. Hoping the extra room and better sleeping arrangement last our family for a while.

Haven't really heard much about the Crossroad brand. Praying that this is a wise investment.
