Thanks. It's funny, during our stay they were filming a new car commercial in the park. Here is my favorite picture from that trip, I finally found a use for that blue led strip in the front.

Todd & Kelly - I wondered about that LED while paroosing some units online.

Do you like the 28BH 5-er? We love the Zinger, but have comptemplated upgrading to a Sunset Trail with slides. We like the 28BH travel trailer, but I also really like the 5th wheel!

We have time to decide as we will need to get a newTV first!

Ewbldavis,

We moved up from a 25' TT with no slides to this 5th wheel. We used to be cramped, but now it's like having our own apartment when we go camping. We love the interior space, but I do miss having space in the back of my pickup for misc supplies. With all of those slides, it can be tricky loading up bigger items in the little interior space we have when we travel. But I must admit the 5th wheel handles so much nicer on the road.

I wasn't even considering a new trailer when I bought a bigger TV. But after we bought the truck, I guess a bigger trailer was inevitable.

Todd

Thanks Todd!

You guys have a nice setup. We have considered a Suburban TV, so whether a 5th Wheel is in the cards MUST be decided before we spend 30K+ on a TV. Slides would be nice, although I admit for no slides our 27BH has a great layout that doesn't feel (too) cramped.

Here we are set up on our first trip out with it a couple months ago. We absolutely love it!

And here is the other side during the last camp of the season about a month ago. No we don't have a slide, but coming from a Hi-Lo this is exactly what we wanted!

Antares, your Z-1 is essentially the discontinued Zinger layout we have. We love ours, even without the slides! Nice looking rig, too!

Does it tow well with your Jeep? Our Trailblazer 6cyl. did well when we went to the Rally, but I doubt it would handle mountains with ease.

Thanks! The Jeep pulls it well, The Jeep has a 6500LB tow rating so I have plenty of capacity to spare. I'm just not happy with the 9MPG that I get.
My only issue is with a strange angle the hitch receiver was mounted on the earlier Commanders that angles the drop shank too high and i'm maxed out on reverse angle on the ball head. I'd like a few more links to play with on the WD setup so I'm looking to upgrade to a newer 5.7l Hemi commander without the hitch issues.

Glad too see another Uhhiya'n here. We are from Willowick.

New tow vehicle! Traded in the Jeep for a Nissan Armada. We loved the Jeep but they were built with a slight upward angle in the hitch receiver that made it difficult to adjust the WD hitch. Absolutely no problems pulling now even without having the hitch fine tuned.

just saw this. no that wasn't the new house. That was our old rental. The new house is bigger and on a cul de sac, and a lot easier together in and out with the trailer.
