skylite cracks

Hello,

Is any one having a problem with the skylite in the bathroom cracking? Mine has a crack on 2 sides that are on what look like a "score line" from the mold. Our 5er is an 07 29BT. Any help with this is appreciated. We purchased this unit last year as a used one.

Also, what kind of caulk should I be using around all the places outside where there is a joint or metal trim.

We have an '05 and have no problem with the skylight. It is 2 layers thisck ( space inbetween) Might that be what you are seeing?



As far as the caulk you should use Dicor. Make sure the surfaces are clean before putting the caulk on.

Thanks for the reply. The cracksare in the outside piece. I took off the inside piece over the tub and all the wood was wet and there was standing water on the inside lip of the inside piece.

If it was wet maybe it froze and cracked it. Use the Dicore self leveling to seal it I have and it works great.
