Sunset Trail 200 RD

We bought a 200 RD last April and we love it. We traded in our one year old Forest River Micro-Lite 21 DS, because it was not very aerodynamic and was difficult to pull. We actually enjoy not having a slide out now. We can easily access the entire inside area, when stopping to eat or rest on the way to our destination, without the slide out to contend with. The Sunset Trail has so much more storage and it's all much more easily accessible. We really enjoy the rear dinette with surrounding windows and the entertainment area. The dinette table posts made seating bit tight, so replaced them with one pneumatic post. The shower is very nice with a curtain instead of doors, so feels more roomy. The bathroom doesn't come with towel bars, etc., so you'll need to put in what you like. This one also has much better insulation than our last one, as it is an all-season trailer. Overall we are extremely happy with our choice. Good luck and I hope our experience helps!

Hello and welcome.

Whoever you buy from make sure you do a PDI - Pre Delivery Inspection. Have them show how it works and make sure that it is working. All the systems - water-refrigerator-Stove/oven -AC- furnace- electrical system 12 volt dc and 110 volt ac and how the holding tanks work. If you do not understand how something works ask.

There is a good PDI in the documents section. Also make sure that your tow vehicle is rated to tow it. If not sure ask on here. Some dealers will tell you you can pull a 38 ft camper with a small suv just to move the inventory. Dont know if this will be your first camper or you are seasoned campers so just remember Ask lots of questions and if your not sure ask here there is a lot of knowledgeable members on here.
