I hope your not disappointed. We went through this with a good many trailers and had to rethink the weight issue. If your search the forum there are links to towing calculators that helped us. If you PM me I can send you the links.

Youíre probably already aware of this however Iíll bring it up.. the sales people usually will tell you your tv will pull whatever theyíre trying to sell you. Unfortunate but happens too often.

The most expensive trailer is the one you canít use to go traveling without white knuckling or driving in the slow lane at 50 with your flashers most of the time.. like from Davenport IA to Bozeman MT

Happy Hunting.

I just went through this with another forum member. He ended up with the 336BH. He loves it.

The advice given out if from everybody is from own experiences. I use to pull with a 1/2 ton truck pulling TT and 5ers. You have to remember stopping is also a big decision when pulling a camper. Like has been said if pulling on level ground you would probably be fine except with the already stated truckers blowing you around. If you plan to drive in the mountains I personally think itís just to hard on a 1/2 ton.

I know Iíll probably catch a lot of flack with this, but I think your pull vehicle should be rated for twice the dry weight of your camper.

Yeah, that statement deserves a lot of flak.

Appropriate only if one has a hoarding problem and collects gold bars.

Iíd go more like 1.25 - 1.5. Safer the better

I went from a 150 to 350. So guilty as charged.
