Hey all, I ordered a new ST31BH at the RV show on Sunday. They didnt have one there but I viewed some similar models. I'm curious what tires you all got with your new trailers. The units I saw at the show had no-name tires. Has anyone spec'ed out what they want? I really want to get Maxxis put on it. Thanks.
we purchased a Sunset Trail 27 RB this past spring . it came equioped with Mission tires
made in China . it is a real shame that an American Co. could not use an American tire although there is only a few companies that make a trailer tire ...as for the Missions i have over 5000 miles on them already and they seem to be ok . lot of these miles are at higher speeds on the interstates . i make sure they have the proper air pressure and always check them when i stop for heat builup and so far so good i think you will like your new unit . glad to see others buying Sunset Trails . we love ours

i have the unit stored under roof for the winter . they are 14 tires . i don't know the proper size and rating . camper weighs around 6000 t0 6500 lbs. loaded . go to the crossroads website . click on ultralites and the sun set trail and floorplans . that floor pan is not on yet ,but you can get an idea of the size tires they use . i am pretty sure they will be 15 inches . hope this helps

your going to get china bombs, brand unknown, what ever they got a deal on that month, you"ll get the first 4 off the top of the pile..I have never known of anybody wha has bought a crossroads product that got american made tires....we are shopping a new unit and the only unit I can find with american tires is the mobile suite...they come with goodyear
The ST come standard with 14" tires... Maybe for a cost 15" would be available. I would call CR directly to see if it's possible. The brand choices are tight for 15" and even tighter for 14".
I got about 3 years out of my Mission on my Cruiser, just replaced them with Marathons this past fall. A friend of mine has 6 year Maxxis on his unit, with about 10K on them, he'll be getting new tires this coming season. 6 years on TT tires is pretty dang good.
