Why do I bother?

Got my 2014 Cruiser 335SS back from dealer after taking it there as recommended by Crossroads retail service tech.(faded front cap)Crossroads then informed my dealer that yes its faded but you are out of warranty,so too bad. This is my fourth 5th wheel and I have never had issues with fading.Looking on the Crossroads forum page I can see its obviously a manufacturers defect and should be fixed.I spent over $50000 when I ordered this unit and after 3 years it looks like its 20years old.It is embarrassing to go to a campground and explain it is only 3 years old. This trailer is well looked after ,waxed three times a year, washed regularly, serviced at end of each season. It probably gets more care than my house and vehicles, but I am asking myself WHY DO I BOTHER when after all the time, money, and effort in trying to keep trailer looking good,I am left with a lousy looking rv because of the fading front cap which I cannot prevent.

I understand how disappointing that is. I have heard an seen reports of bad paint. You said it is 3 years old if it is otherwise trouble free it is probably a good camper.
Hope others with similar problems will chime in.

I had the same problem and Crossroads fixed it at the 21 month mark. There are a bunch of folks on here that have had this issue. There was a thread a couple weeks back by some one else who was having this problem and crossroads refused to fix it. Their refusal seems to be the current company line.

Go Directly to Crossroads just to make a point. Also Trailer Life Magazine has a consumer assistance column. If several of you guys contact them together it will make a good article for them and perhaps will get Crossroads' attention.

HATE to hear it....
but it's a known issue with the gelcoat (unpainted) rv's ...

I don't know if it's industry wide,
but I do know it's been reported on Redwoods as well as the Crossroads...

Some have opted just to pay to have it painted because the mfg's are not standing behind it.

Why many are going with full body paint --- when's the last time you saw an auto less than 20 years old with pain issues

May not be industry wide but plenty of brands have the issue. There is an almost brand new Calibre near me, but the front cap looks like it is 20 yrs old already.
