I agree to a lot of what jb2 said.
I don't use the king pin stabilizer any more. My chocks I feel help some what for movement. I like them for locking up the trailer to prevent any getting away....

This is what I use. They are just hanging there loose in the pic. I would think you should be able to make them any length necessary.
