Let me assure you I have totally disassembled these brakes and cleaned everything, but when I installed the pad in the mount I had to hit it with a hammer to get it back out...I have always used...

I have a Taurus, and a GMC 2500...I have had to grind the pads so they could move on the pad mount, even after replacing all the slide inserts...:D
