I guess things have changed since we bought our unit. We have a CO2 sniffer on the wall about head high in our bedroom that runs off batteries and an LP sniffer that is hard wired mounted in the wall...

Dave, see if it might twist out of a mounting...

Dave, see if it might twist out of a mounting bracket like the smoke detector does and the batteries are on the back side of it. Ours is mounted on the bedroom wall and has a small panel on the front...
