Those are probably made at the same China...

Those are probably made at the same China factory....I'd opt for the good ol North American know how and proper paint /clearcoat.

Another symptom of rims being made in china. Probably thinned out clear coat to save $. I wonder if you can have the rims cleaned/sandblasted and a good body shop spray a clear on it?
