MOST towing/rv sites all recommend it, how else will you know ?

BUT, you don't have to weigh...
If your dealer told you you are ok,
or the rv salesmen...

That's great....

I ran to get the 5er to load up for next week's trip and since the storage area is only 10 miles, didn't really think I needed to bump up the pressure --- WRONG - felt like I was...

I'd still suggest you go by a cat scale...

I'd still suggest you go by a cat scale (https://catscale.com/cat-scale-locator) to get your weights and see if the tires are up to the task :)

If those are not the stock tires, then the tire placard is useless :(

Get online and find your tire mfg's load...

Get online and find your tire mfg's load inflation charts (https://www.google.com/search?q=tire+inflation+charts),
weigh your truck empty and hooked up/loaded,
and inflate the tires to the pressure...
