I agree Lloyd, but if your roof leaks it won't kill you , if your rv is full of propane or exhaust fumes without any warning, YOUR DEAD. Be sure to test the monitor at 2-3 times a year just to be on...

Be sure to check the date on the back of the monitor, it may be older than the rv depending how long it was on the shelf before they installed it.
Also some aerosol sprays can/will set it off...
