You should only need to disconnect the main...

You should only need to disconnect the main ground/negative cable. If you disconnect more, be sure to note or take a picture of how they are connected, reconnecting wrong will be worse than a dead...

CO/LP detector, any illuminated switches, radios...

CO/LP detector, any illuminated switches, radios with clocks, antenna booster, digital thermostats, fridge if on & water heater if on, just ones I can think of off hand.
