It may have some (minor) insulating benefit. Will not prevent water lines from freezing. Keeps road grime and water spray off your plywood floor.

It happened to me as well. Like Harley said, take off the inside part of skylight. That should confirm if it was the skylight. I noticed a lonely little drop of water on the frame of the skylight....

I choose to keep the valve closed on one tank so I know when one goes empty. You could always turn both on when using the oven then off again when done.

No reason not to crank your air pressure to between 30 and 40. Your water pressure is that high. Set the pressure on your compressor before you get started and don't worry about it.

Knock on wood...but I have not had any problems with my slide. Good advise though. When putting slide in or out I always hold for three to five seconds and this is advised in order to keep motors...
