I've put Eternabond across the entire front cap, pulled all the screws out of the door side drip edge, caulked the holes and re-tightened the screws....

Yup that is the one we have been using (about 2,500 miles so far). No problems with the mount. We do rotate the TV so it is facing the bed and make sure the doors are latched in the open position....
