If the bypass valves are in the bypass position, you will still get water out of the faucet when opening the hot valve. If you get hot water with gas, you have an electrical problem.

Sure you don't have a crimped suction line going to the pump? Or a clog in the suction line? From what I read the pump runs, stops, and maintains pressure. Doesn't sound like a leak to me on that...

I'm not a full timer. Again, I've never had any issues. My old trailer didn't even have the flush system. I put the wand down the toilet and used a Johny chock. Now I can use the external connection....
