That is correct. Did not kill the batteries even on an overnight stay. Batteries recharged and fridge ran off inverter while travelling. System works as planned.

1200 watts should be more than adequate. Fridge should only draw 300-400 watts. You need HUGE cables to feed the inverter, ex. 4 guage and can be no more than 2 or 3 ft from battery to inverter!!!
