I know it's been awhile but now that the forum has a spot for Silverado trailers I thought I'd see how many more of them were out their. Mines an 05 sf36mk and has over 25,000 miles on it and still is a hell of a trailer. This year we'll head to Lake George and Cape Cod along with a couple of weekend trips. Enjoy the up comming season

Yes there are a few of us out there. Â*Mine is an 04 Â*37fl Â*and has 32K miles on it. Â*Took it through some of the roughest roads I've ever seen up in Alaska last summer. Â*Still looks like new although I had the carpeting replaced last year and new recliners. Â*I also saw our same model in a RV park in Gilroy CA. Â*

Here's another. Don't see many of us. Too bad they dropped the line. Ours is a 2004 34RK. It was one of the first. The Michigan Dealer bought it at the Big Show in Indy. Has many extras put on for a show model. Too bad they didn't spend a little more time in quality assembly. Of course this was before the Thor acquisition. Hopefully the quality is much better now. Have had a few issues, but still a good unit.
Have less than 20K miles, but was used the first 2 years primarily as a summer home on property in northern MI. Since then spent the winters in the "Valley of the Sun".

We have an 05 36ck that we love. It is in great shape and enjoy spending months at a time in it. Unfortunately, we want to buy a smaller, more movable unit and are having touble selling it. We don't understand why we can not find a listing on NADA to price it out. Any help out there with answers?

NADA doesn't have listings for '05 Silverado, partly because Cross Roads discontinued the Silverado line in early '05. The listing for the '05 36CK will be as accurate as you can get.

We purchased 05 Silverado SF36MK new in May 04. Have since towed about 40,000 miles including 13,000 mile Alaska trip and 7500 mile Northeast Canada tripincluding Newfoundland. Each winter since purchase are spent in Texas in unit with very few problems. It would be nice to have better insulation when have 30 degree nights. Unit still looks almost new.

I started towing with 04 Ford 350 DRW 6.0l[had problems] and have replaced with 08Ford 350 DRW 6.4l. Both tow real nice. I have the Trailersaver air ride fith wheel hitch which makes for smoother ride.

Ours was purchased Aug of 04 by the first owner and we purchased ours Oct. 05. Â*Even after those rough gravel Alaska roads not a screw or board out of place. Â*Did you go on the Taylor and Top of the World so called highways (dirt and gravel a more accurate term). Â*Last year we tried to go on the Cassiar highway but it was in even worse shape than the Taylor and Top of the World. Â*We started down for a couple miles and when we couldn't go faster than at idle speed we gave up. Â*

We ordered ours Feb 04 and took delivery in May. We had to wait for 05 to come out as we wanted queen bed which wasn't available in 04.

On the way North we left Alaskan Highway at Watson Lake and took Cambell Highway which was 300 miles of gravel road. From Dawson City, Yukon we went on Top Of The World Highway to rejoin Alaskan Highway at Tok, Alaska and on up to Fairbanks. We travelled Cassiar Highway on return trip which was under major repair and mostly mud down to Stewart/Hyder area. Through it all, there are hardly any paint chips to this day on unit. I used no protection except mud flaps on truck. Did have flat on RV due to stone at Boundry, Alaska. Also had tire wear problem due o bad rear axle from factory which was replaced at factory upon return.

We still have our 05 Silverado SF36MK and now have over 55,000 miles on it. It still looks good except for one decal. Have had no major problems sinceone axle being replaced under warranty. We have parked it in TX for the last year as did not use enough in IN to pull back and forth. The awning and slide covers just took a beating in hailstorm and need fabric replaced.

Our 05 SF36MK Silverado is still providing us winter residence along the TX coast with no major problems. I do have some exterior recaulking to do and give it the annual wax job. Also couple decals are showing signs of the sun exposure. All in all it has been a good unit for us! We have not towed for3 years now.

Carl,
Where do you have your unit on the TX coast? We really like the Rockport area and may winter there next year if we do not go to Florida.

Thanks, Jean

Jean,
We are actually in Fulton, TX next door to Rockport at Woody Acres Park. Our 10th year here in the Silverado. Time flies when having fun!

Just wondering how the weather is during Dec-Feb. We were in the Hill Country (before owning RV) during Dec 12-Jan 13 and it got very chilly there. It was 27F when we left on 1/15.
