We just purchased a 2012 Sunset Trail 30RE trailer and after going through all of the manuals, etc. I haven't come across anything showing the electrical/wiring layout/diagrams for the trailer. Has anyone else had this information given to them when they bought their trailers or asked their dealer for it? My last two trailers (other brand) had this info in the owners manual.

I'm starting to think this may be an odd request? Maybe CrossRoads doesn't give that information out on their trailers. My main reason for asking, probably should have mentioned this in my post was so I could figure out what outlets are tied to which breakers so I don't accidentally overload anything. Ex: probably not a good idea to have a space heater plugged into an outlet tied to the breaker the fireplace is also on, etc.

Neither of our last two trailers had electrical or plumbing diagrams, just a very generic owners manual plus individual manuals for each appliance, TV and the running gear. Fairly easy to match the outlets to a breaker. Turn 'em all off except one and use a multi-meter to find out which outlets are hot and mark them and the breaker #1, then to to #2...

Never seen a wiring schematic for an RV myself but if nessesary you can use a lamp and map each outlet by throwing the breakers in the panel...I think my panel is labelled like a home panel. BTW, the only other thing on the fireplace circuit is on the water heater, hence the wall switch for selecting one or the other.

I'm not sure but plan on doing some work on my trailer this weekend and will take that measurement. The trailer does seem to sit high, at least higher than I am used to which I actually like as I can get under the trailer to check things out if I need to much better than my previous trailers.

I'm sure you can get this information if you request it. I wrote to them and said I needed the complete layout of where the studding was, for attaching things to the walls. They sent me a complete PDF of the frame structure. Worth a try, I know that some engineer has to have the plans...they cannot put these things together without wiring diagrams. IMHO
