Just put Comlara Park on my Google Maps, it is 4 hours from Beaver Dam, 4.5 for me driving only 60mph. We will be there, DW will take Thursday and Friday off of work so we'll be there around 1PM or thereabouts. Now, all we have to figure out is do we want sites 96 to 104 or do you want the same sites you had last year. The flyer that was handed out at The factory rally said sites 41-47 were a bit windy last year. I'm not sure if anyone will be there before us but those of you who were there last year know better than we do. If a decision could be made it would help.

Looking forward to it.

Jim

A word of note....the camping spots are on a first come, first serve basis as no reservations are taken after the fall colors event weekend(previous weekend). If the weather is looking good, I will try and go out mid-week and put put my name on some sites or see if I can work something out with park management. For those now needing 50-amp service, there are sites available if needed which could affect our site location.

Tom,
That would be a great idea...and think of this too, with everyone not needing A/C, can the people with 50 amp units not hookup to 30 amp with diverters? Just a thought. We will look for the sites with your name on them.

thanks,
Jim

My trailer is set up for 50 amp but I very seldom use 50amp service. My trailer sits next to my house and I have a 30 amp outlet. I have had no problem using 30 amp even with the A/C.

I doubt that we will need AC at Comlara. If anything, we might need heat.

Tom (Pointer1),
I know that is usually the case, but do you remember the spring we had LOL. Could be a fall just them same. But, unless it gets over 85 I will not use A/C anyway

See you soon,
Jim

Looking forward to the rally as we camp in comlara park every other week during the season, the fishing is good but if you bring a boat of any kind including kayaks you have to purchase a lake evergreen water permit, and the park now has WIFI (free)

We will be looking forward to this get together since we are unable to attend the factory rally again this year and Mike........there's no water or sewer hook up, they do have water spickets throughout the park I believe. Its a very nice peaceful campground and it fills up about every weekend during the summer. Bring a pole if you like to fish they have a nice lake to fish on.
