We have the Rushmore 38FLon our short list for a Fulltime 5th Wheel.

Anyone on the forum Fulltiming in a Rushmore, how is it holding up to fulltime use?

We like the Rushmore's open layout and features.

We would apprecitate any comments of feedback.

Just a point, are you aware that if you full time, your warranty will be void? I spoke to Crossroads about it, and they stated they will not cover the unit if it is used for full-timing as it is not meant to be used that way. Rushmore has a floorplan that I really liked, (same one!) and I checked into it. We will be full-timers too, probably next year.

There are a lot of people on this forum that fulltime in various Crossroads products and I am not aware of anyone ever having warranty work denied because they were fulltimers. If youever neededwarranty work done, why would the subject of how you use the trailer ever come up. I doubt that Crossroads would ask how you use the trailer or could they tell how you use it. JMHO.

I was never asked by the factory or the dealer how frequently the unit was used when they were performing warranty work. What is the definition of full-timing? I know lots of people who "full-time" but have a residence and the unit sits idle for 3 months for holidays or in the mid-summer heat.

Have '11 35RL, reckon you could say we fulltime. Still have stix n brix, been on the road, more or less since Mar '11. Once we get the 'kinks of a new unit' worked out, am sure it will be fine, so far so good ... And Crossroads has, so far, stood behind their product.

Is there anything to this full time = warranty void? I find that remarkably hard to believe.

Most manufacturers have that in their warranty unless the unit is described as being full time suitable.
