I've been away from the forum for awhile and just finished reading through the 2011 rally section. Sounds like it was another good time. We missed the really this year due to other commitments. I've got the 2012 rally on the calendar already and all everything and everybody willing, we plan to be back.

Got a wedding in Pittsburgh on the 7th, will head to NC to see the Grandsons and catch the Rally on the ride home again, if the band doesn't get booked. Probably stag again. Between the gift card and Attwood putting a new circuit board in my water heater (I need to send a note to someone) I made money attending Had almost enough to buy 2 bags of dog food with the card ! We go through a lot. Thanks to all I met....I attempted to sit with a different group each meal and only one or two sent me away Till I got the hot water fixed............

Chris, it would welcome to see you and your family again. My girls ask me if "the people with kids from Pennsylvania" were coming? I'm guessing they were referring to you. Hopefully all works out for next year!!

Are there many kids and teensthat come to these? Is there stuff for them to do? I pick up my Zinger Tuesday (hopefully) and we are seriously consideringbeing there. It is only a few hours drive for us and I figured it would be great way to get to knopw our camper in a whole different way. Pluus, if there are any problems, it would be nice to get someone at CrossRoads face to face.

last year there were some kids. Don't recall exactly how many, but its a great time for the WHOLE family.
I haven't had any experience with factory repairs, but I did meet Randy (in charge of factory repairs) as he came to the campground TWICE to repair a trailer for someone.

now you can play the waiting game too. I have been waiting for 2 weeks. I have no doubt that Denny will respond... just not sure when. Maybe he is on holidays or something.
I think the best part of the rally is the food. There is an amish couple that caters to the rally and the food is amazing... You will NOT leave hungry.

I sent an email wondering if there were still openings and had the same question about the kids going. By looking at the campground website I didn't see a playground area, but I might have missed it. We were thinking about going. I also thought about calling the campground to see about spots.

I don't recall a playground, but there might have been somewhere near the custard booth near one of the entrances. There wasn't a whole lot of free time, we were always busy. Denny will book the site for the 2 nights of the rally. Any additional nights- you will have to phone the park directly, tell them you are part of the rally and which site denny has you on. We did that last year without any issues.

Well the wife's vacation is approved, now i just need to sit down and make some reservations.
As far as kids, my three girls have been there a number of times and have always had a good time. There is no playground or pool, but there is a lot of room around the rally tent for them to run around. My girls will be 14, 9, and 5 this year.
