Hi All - just got in from our last camping trip for the winter and started winterizing our 22 ft sunset trail. When I hooked up the siphon tube and set the valve to siphon, I get little or no suction from the pump. I can hear the pump running, but no antifreeze is pulled from the container. Any ideas? Thanks.

I agree with Brian. Mine won't draw any antifreeze until I open a faucet.

Brian and Dale - thanks for the advice. I did have a faucet open, there is just no suction on the siphon tube. The tubewas a little loose at the hose clamp and I thought that must be the problem so I tightened it, but it made no difference.

My wife and I picked up our new ST20CK in October and had it winterized when we picked it up. The dealer spent about 2 hours trying to figure out why they were encountering the same problem you are. Turns out there are two valves to turn to bypass the hot water heater and someone at the factory had installed one (or both) wrong. Once they got that figured out it sucked antifreeze like a champ. My owner's manual doesn't say anything about the plumbing, so I plan to trace the plumbing next spring so I have an idea how the heck everything works. And I plan to go camping with it too for the first time!

If yours is new, I'dmention that tothe dealer.

Dave - thanks for the tip. I will check for another valve. Enjoy your first trip.
