I forgot to winterize my outside shower. I did it last year and did not use it at all this year. Do you think I will be OK if I never used it? I think I am going to go and prime the pump with pink stuff again and just turn on the outside shower to be on the safe side. Just want your opinions to see if my thinking was correct.

My feeling is that you can never be too cautious when it comes to winterizing. For the little time it will take it sure is a lot easier than trying to find a broken pipe buried deep in the bowls of the TT next spring!

Years ago I didn't winterize right and broke a line under the bathtub. What a painful project that turned out to be. No fun at all!

Outside Shower:
The first thing I do (my choice, of course) is cut off the outside shower head and put a garden hose male adaptor on the hose. Then, I have a hose outlet that I can put a hose on with pressurized water available from the TT (via shore or pump). I've found a place to hook up a hose for water more useful than the outside shower. If I'm dumping where there is no water source (dry dump) I have a hose hookup available to use for washing or flushing.
