Hello, we just enabled the CREATE A POLLS feature! Within each forum, you will see a NEW POLL button next to the NEW POST button.

Click the NEW POLL button, enter the subject, your question, and up to 5 polls choices. It is simple and fun to do!

Wow, CrossRoads really spoils us!!. First they produce the best built, best backed RV in the industry. Now they give us this great forum!! Whats next, Amish peanut butter?

Denny, Do you remember how Lucy and Ethel made grape wine?

Well, the Amish make peanut butter the same way.

By the way, they do not wear shoes in the summer.

seems like a pointless feature to me. Â*EVERY poll I have ever seen has ALWAYS been self serving. Â*Nothing to be learned under those circumstances.

really...pointless and self serving? how about something like "need to buy a fifth wheel hitch" and list some common picks. that can be useful. or just have fun with it. i think its a good thing that crossroads is interested in keeping its customers informed and happy.i guess if you dislike it that much than you just don't have to take part in any polls.

Ed, Â*I take your point but if someone posts a poll listing hitches A, B & C Â*someone is going to complain that hitch D wasn't included and others will recommend hitches X, Y & Z. Â*Would be better to ask for an opinion.

I'm an active member in a forum that has polls. Â*90000+ members. Â*Rare poll that gets more than 100 responses which is horrible when you look at the number of members. Â*Most of the polls I've seen are self serving in the sense that generally the poll poster is trying to reinforce a decision or justify a purchase they have already made. Â*This poll is truly self serving as it is being used to market a feature Crossroads added to the forum.

Now, if they're used for fun....

One suggestion, after one votes the "cast your vote" should be locked out. Right now you can "stuff" the ballot box!

funny you say that. i did a poll on tow vehicles and it was just to goof around.(an extension of truck wars) and i received an e-mail that i left out gmc, even though i had chevy in there and i also left out all the medium duty trucks (sterling, freight liners etc.). it was a valid point but i think there is a fair share of good humor on this forum and this fella might of missed it.

i guess my point was that if used and taken correctly i think they can be useful and fun. i think we are lucky to have a good spirited imformative and sometimes fun forum for us to use, thanks to crossroads.
