We still can't decide if we are supposed to take the back off before using this stupid air mattress sofa bed.

Also, the thin end that sits on the couch never seems to be level, making your head downhill.

And What is the velco for on the flap? Dealer thought maybe to go in the pullout drawer?

Instructions from Crossroads or the bed company would have been nice.

Anyone have ideas or the "right" way to use it??

I don't under stand what you mean about taking the back off . Mine , you remove the cushions and spread the thin end of the mattress on the bottom of the sofa and inflate the mattress.Put enough air so its not soft .I don't know about the flap, we just put it on the sofa bottom.Airs up fast and everyone that sleeps on it likes it better than the old sofa bed or table. We keep ours in the drawer under the sofa instead of carrying it to some other place.

We probably have the same air mattress on our Lifestyle Lounge in our 2010 CF31QB. First, the head end rests on the flat part of the sofa. In our coach the flat end is a wooden board under the removable center cushion. The bed is flat and comfortable in this configuration.

As far as the Velcro flap, Crossroads told me that is for a different application and is not used for Cruiser use. Just leave the flap and do nothing with it as it has no function in a Cruiser.

Ditto what Art and FB1965 said. Our grown granddaughter has used it several times and said it is way more comfortable than the old pull-out, thin mattress sofa bed in our old cruiser. It is quick and easy to setup and take down also.
