Been looking for several years and many RV shows knowing that we would replace our small 5er someday. That someday is this Thursday when we pick up our 2012 335SS Patriot!! We are really stoked and looking forward to a great ownership experience. Will of course be looking on this forum for tips, tricks and such and we already are thinking of several minor mods. See ya'll around.

Congratulations on getting the new unit and welcome to the Forum and the CrossRoads Family. The 335SS Patriot is an awesome unit. Great floor plan with lots of living area. Be sure and check out the mods that I and others have made to their units. And, don't be afraid to ask questions. Everyone on the Forum is willing to share their knowledge and experience.

Congratulations - we picked one up last November - we really like the lay out.

Give it a good inspection before you pick it up - run all of the slides in and out and check for fit. I watched the sides from the outsides as my wife ran them out and in.

The bed slide was initially out of adjustment - I delayed delivery until they got it aligned-. Went in and out OK but did not seal on the front. The controller is under the bed under the piece of plywood at the head board end of the bed. The reason I know is that they did not re-install the piece of plywood. They added an additional piece of sealing material on the bottom of the slide too.

Wish the sofa bed was a little bigger - really a one person bed. We will probably lay a queen size inflatable on the floor when we take a couple camping with us. Did that on our last trailer.

De-winterizing ours today and getting ready for some spring trips.

I added a second battery (used a dual battery box) and installed some wood "box frames" around the drain pipes in the main storage compartment - I was afraid stuff could damage the drain pipes.
I purchased the 'wet" bolt kit for the EquaFlex suspension (bolts with grease zerks) - not sure I will install them or have a local shop do it

Thanks for the welcome and the tips. I have done, either on our last fiver or the one before, the wet bolt install and increasing the battery bank size. We like the national parks, especially those in and around the Rockies and the extra amps come in handy. I am considering a bank of 4 T105's with an inverter, but that's a lot of weight in the nose.
