Both sides run on their appropriate rails. Did you check to see bothare tight and secure. Is the slide out running on top of the rails as intended? Anyone hit the slider while out?

Does it go in and out as always andany differences in noises when operating?

Thanks Bob, for the reply I just got the camper this year and don't know if anyone hit it.
I look around and could see anything that was in the way ,but from the outside you can see
where it is smashing thegasket on one side real bad .
should I be able too see the rails you were talking about?
Thanks Malcolm

Malcolm,

I am not an expert by a long shot,---but when you say it is "mashing the gasket on one side real bad", it scares me for you. Sounds like the slide is not tracking even on both rails, which can and probably will cause more problems down the road. It will ruin the seal for sure.

If you are not sure what to do, get it checked out by a honest repair facility. Ask around and go with the place that feel right. Ask them to do a thourogh inspection of your slide. Money now will save money in the future while you are camping.
