Hello to all,
My wife and I are seriously considering buying a new Elevation 3612 toy hauler. We live in Arlington TX. and am dealing with Explore USA in Mesquite TX. We looked at both the 3612 and 3310 and have decided on the 3612 due to the extra room and layout.
My question is concerning financing and pricing.
We were quoted just under 57,000 for the one on the dealers lot. It has several options, but the options that matter to us are 2nd a/c, happijack bed, 5.5 onan generator. We have a 08 mk-33 toy hauler to trade or sell outright, but they would give us 25,000 on a trade.
This leaves us with approx 30,000 to finance.
Has anyone had a good (or bad ) experience with a lending company?
We have decent credit and 45% down payment. I am wondering where to look for a RV loan.
With it being our 2nd home, we are not wanting to have our credit overloaded with inquiries.
Any help with either the financing, or opinions on the 3612 would be appreciated.
Any experiences (good or bad) with Explore USA will be appreciated also.
This is a big leap for us and we want to be able to make an informed decision
Thank You
Steve Rees

PS. We also looked at some other brands toy hauler, but CrossRoads won out hands down

Steve,

I can't really help direct you to the perfect financial institution. However I would recommend you visit with Vogt RV. They have been excellent to work with and found us a rate that was as competitive as any out there. Their located in Halton City (Ft. worth) Texas.Vogt is an authorized Crossroads dealer with the most knowledgeable team I've ever dealt with.

Aaron Vogt worked with us through every step of our journey. Their prices were the lowest we could find anywhere. You don't have to mention our name we wouldn't get anything if you did. Just a very satisfied customer.

Hope this helps in some way.

Todd

Hunter 11,
No we are dealing with Mike Cotter at Explore Usa. So far he has been extremely informative and not at all pushey or hard sell. Very nice person
The msrp with the (performance, Nitro, and Delux paint package), a/c in bdrm, happijack beds, and 5.5 onan generater --with other various options, come in at $70,436.00. This includes freight but not taxes.
My email is stevenrees1@yahoo.com.
Feel free to email me for phone # or any other info

Thanks

Steve

If the MSRP is $70,436.00 then to me they are still about $6k to $7k to high on their price at $57k. You should be able to buy that unit at 28% to 30% off MSRP. I would offer them $50k.
