There should be a # stamped into your Lippert pin box. Where ever you decide to purchase from, give them that # and they will be able to set you up with the right Mor-Ryde.
I put the Mor-Ryde on a couple years ago. Made a big difference.

I have had noticeable improvement with a DEMCO Glide Ride. No need to match GVW as it works on a different principle. I have reduced my chucking considerably. With the Moreryde you can get some extra motion when the compressed rubber "unloads", and you need to match the weight of the trailer not the pin weight.

I purchased the roto-flex hitch through Crossroads for about 1/2 the price of the morryde or demco shipped directly from Lippert. It made the ride quite a bit better, good upgrade for me.

I had Crossroads install the roto flex pin box They had the best price and knew how to install it. Improved the ride. Value worth the price.

The morryde looks to be around $600.. I can get this hitch "roto-flex hitch" half the price ? have the link to this hitch?

Thanks bill. For some reason i needed to know the pin weight. Wierd.. I will call again, I might just have to wait till i get the camper out of storage in a week or so to see the numbers.

Thanks "old farmer" for the link. The one i had the price was a bit more. Yours tweety link was cheaper.

Why, Thank folks.. Where is the links? hehehehehe.. LOL..

You can call Angela Kniffen at Crossroads Customer Service on the roto-flex hitch. I paid $325.00 for the hitch which included the shipping buying it direct from Crossroads.

OH,, Not the hitch in the bed in the truck, But rather the Pin box, Correct?
Like this? http://www.tweetys.com/ProductImages...s/rotoflex.pdf

I never seen that type before, Interesting. It is different than the morryde for sure.

like the roto-flex pin box. Our '07 cruiser didn't have it and our '10 cruiser does. Much better ride.

Confusing.. Most internet chatter is on the moryde then the Demco and if you look deep enough you will find Roto-flex.. Hard to decide what is the best bang for the buck on these types of pin boxes. Personally i am leaning on the Demco right now, But that could change in the next 5 minutes.

MorRyde A rubber pad. Folks say that the rubber rebound can be felt. Seem most people have.

Demco.. A rocking, rubber dampened motion. Like bench bench swing on the porch

Roto.. Same as demco, But a rubber dampened pivot.

Hummm.. A rubber pad, A Rocker, Or a Pivot.. Humm..

Dan, I'm guessing you and I have about the same size 5er.
I don't notice "any" loading/unloading of the rubber in the hitch. This is so much better then that stock pin box that I don't know how anyone could find fault in it.

Just a thought---on your particular 5er, will they recommend a Roto Fex??
Not trying to talk you into or out of any of them.

Hey Farmer. Who is they? "Just a thought---on your particular 5er, will they recommend a Roto Fex??"

With the moryde that you have do you really feel the rubber rebound? Do you remember what rubber shock you have in yours? 1500# ? I have to wait till i get the camper home in the next few weeks, Need the pin box info, measurements and weight of the unit.. My charge card is already out, Just need to make the big decision.

Kind of been watching this thread to see how the discussion went. I replaced the original pin box on our 2005 29RK with a Mor/ryde. One of the best mods that I did to that trailer. When we bought the new 2011 335SS it came with the Roto-flex pin box. After a 2500 mile trip to Topeka, In and back, one of the first things I did when we returned was to replace the Roto-flex with a Mor/ryde. In my opinion the Mor/ryde is a much better pin box.

I was referring to---Manufacture of the frame (Lippert) the coach (Crossroads) and the manufacture of the pin box.
There was some talk awhile back on here that Lippert wasn't OK with the Roto flex, then all of a sudden it started coming on some of the new rigs.

Like I stated previously, I don't feel any rebound from the rubber in the pin box.
I don't know what you mean by rubber shock?? Unless you are referring to what is called (the shear). If you haven't seen the video yet, here is a link to Mor/ryde's site. You can get some understanding of what it is and what info is needed if you decide to go with a Mor/ryde.

You got my curiosity going, so I went out and checked my GVWR--11625#
Then I got to looking at the Mor/ryde and seen 18000#
I started wondering just what I had installed. So I dug out the invoice and it stated it was
a (3), but that 18000# was bothering me so back out to the camper. Sure enough on the back end of the pin box I found the 3. I took a couple pics.

Holy smoke. Seems you have a stiff one for the camper. 18000# ??? You have a 05/06 according to the chart above? I know the sticker says 3.. But, that is confusing.

Thanks for the research and pictures. Sorry to get you stirred up.. lol

Edit . Wonder if you indeed got a 03, But it is labeled for a max of 18000 to be safe.

George, been meaning to ask you what you saw as major/big differences between the two.
It is quite a surprise to see someone admit that.

One more thing, what weight did they post on the side of your Mor/Ryde?
