We have ordered a Slingshot 29BH but have a few questions about this product that the salesperson could not answer. Is there wood in the walls and floor of these units? I initially saw an article on the web that the walls were Azdel (sp?), which is a composite with no wood. I see in the brochure that the floors are a 2" laminate, but is wood part of this laminated material? Would appreciate anybody's clarification here.

We looked at the slingshot, but decided on a Zinger instead. I believe sidewalls are all welded aluminum framing (as are most ultralights). Roof and floor framing are probably all aluminum, too. Wood paneling is used inside, but walls are laminated as a single unit (whole wall is one big assembly), with wood and fiberglass exterior being glued/pressed together.
