Big Time RV

For you Floridians or anyone interested. There is a new show on the Travel Channel called Big Time RV. It's based on the inner workings of a large Florida based RV dealer. Hence Lazy Days.

Too funny! You better not disappear off into the sunset now that you have a new Sabre.

Nah, I have too many friends here. I'll still be around. I've kinda dropped off the thor forum but that's because it's more of a MH forum but I'll still hang with my friends here unless they get tired of this SOB owner.

Bert, we were in Lazy Days on Monday and saw the cast of Gator Boys wander through the cafeteria. We figured they were buying an RV and filming an episode for Big Time RV at the same time. (Didn't put 2+2 together quick enough to get an autograph...DD is still mad at us! LOL)

We have been to Lazy Days and the place is very impressive! It is massive and there are a lot of people working there. The salespeople are in a huge cube farm. The service waiting area has two sides - one for people with pets and one without. When they say pets, they usually mean dogs. They also have seminars going on just off the waiting area. If your unit is in for service and they keep it overnight, you can stay in it while it is in the bay (as in sleep in it).

We live 10 min from the Gator Boys venue. We're waiting for Everglades Holiday Park to finish remodeling the campground.

We've slept in the bays before at Lazy Days. They have a lot for when you purchase an rv "S Lot". When they were done with our repairs it was too late to drive home so we stayed there. They will always try to accommodate. But you definitely see more dogs in the waiting room. We did see a bird once.

Bert - they offered for us to stay in the bay. We thought that was so weird because it's a travel trailer, not a motor home. We didn't have sheets on the bed or anything. LOL! And at any rate, we were only about 45 minutes from home. So we just left (after hanging out all day) and returned the next day at noon. I will say, they are very nice and accommodating at Lazy Days. If you have to spend a day waiting on repairs/maintenance, this is a nice place to do it!
