You could easily have another 20 weeks or so if this winter is anything like last winter!

We will be bringing ours home from the seasonal site in mid-October. Then we will start getting ready to head to the Gulf Coast for three months starting in January.

We leave tomorrow for 2 weeks. Then work a week, another week camping, 2 weeks work and the final week camping. Hopefully the weather holds up, as we have already had some overnight lows near freezing. If all goes to plan we will get 79 nights in this year! Total miles towed this year will be just under 9000.

Might have to camp one night in the backyard to get to the big 8-0!

Camping in the driveway is ok when you 1st get your rig after that its like kissing you sister. I guess you can count it if the grandchildren are there camping in the driveway.

Fortunately we live in SE Texas and have a 13 month camping season with only a few short periods of near-freezing weather on average. Only made it to 100 days camping so far, the rig was in the shop until late March and went back early August and is still there; so not sure how much use we will get before the end of the year. Best of luck on winterizing and hope for an early spring.

That is a beautiful place to live with a lot great camping I bet. My brother lives in Littleton and we have been to your town, very nice area, but you can keep the snow by you for a little while longer.

Winterizing: Texas Style. Take the shorts and short sleeve shirts out of the trailer and replace with long variety. Add light jacket or 2 and a knit cap. DONE.

Now Russ Lloyd and I decided that she needs a John Deere with and enclosed and heated cab. AT least a two stage and maybe a three stage if there is such a thing

Pink stuff is circulated throughout, and not a day too soon. Cold here last few nights! Froze my garden hose... Sledding soon, but already looking forward to next season...

We will be taking our last trip of the season this weekend and winterizing it on Sunday.
Not a moment too soon as we have been in the 30's every night this week and only up into the 40's and 50's during the day. Edited by: anaro
