I had a 1999 F-250 with the 6.8 V-10. It had around 135000 miles on it when I traded it with no major problems. The newer V-10's had three valves per cylinder which should give better performance. Should do a good job of pulling your camper. Good luck.

I had a 2003 32' Winny Class A MH with the Ford V-10. It is a smooth running engine and had plenty of power. However, when pulling up an incline (with a tandem axle trailer with two motorcycles) she had trouble holding speed and RPM's would scream at you....The best I have got for mileage on flat land was about 8.5 MPG. Also, gasoline engines lose power as elevations increase, so if you are doing lots of towing in higher elevations, expect that..

If its as nice as it looks, you got a very nice truck. Who ever had that truck before, must have taken great pride in it, and kept it up.

Great looking truck. Very Clean. from the photos

I had a Ranger in the same color...well maybe a little less metallic. My favorite color vehicle ever. It works very well either in the cold slushy winters or hot summers.

Should also match well to your trailer too!

Thanks everyone. Truck was obviously well cared for. Not a speck of body rust. Interior looks great too. I climbed all over and under it. I am so far very happy with it. Previous owner removed brake controller. I am having a Teconsha Primus IQ installed tomorrow courtesy of the dealer. It came with a power train warranty.

Mark, Pueblo Gold is the color. Your right, it should be a good match. Strictly a coincidence. Hope to pick up my TT end of next week.
