Goodyear 14 ply steel belted radials. Don't trust 10 ply light truck tires.

If you are like most RVer's we tend to overload which is hard on tires. If you ever experience a blow out at 70MPH you will wish you had spent the extra money and installed Goodyear Unisteel "G" rated tires.
The blow out I had on E rated tires cost me $1500. damage to the side of my fifth wheel.

My understanding between ST and LT tires is the sidewalls on the ST has more I support than LT tires. That been said I put BFG Commercial load range E on my PP. I pump them up to max tire pressure and TPMS and I am a happy camper. One note might be if you had a toy hauler with a third axle there would be more twisting on the tires in a turn.

Important thing to remember, ST tires are only rated for 65 miles per hour. The argument of sidewall strength has been going on for years. Many new large Rv's are now coming in with LT tires. So that makes me think the sidewall issues is really a non issue.
