Is the vinegar a necessary procedure? I washed, waxed and sanitized the fresh water system as well as repacked the bearings and adjusted the brakes. Now just have to find a CrossRoadsdealer to get my yearly warranty 'inspection' done.

I missed your post. Sorry for the delay getting back.
I use the age old procedure of sanitizing---which is bleach, then vinegar. The vinegar neutralizes the bleach residue that you are going to have left over in the tank. mainly because the drain plug is situated so high up on the side of the tank it's almost impossible to flush it all out.

Just got back from our first 3 day camping trip...boondocking...had plenty of water for showers, wasn't able to dump the tanks as the county parks aren't open yet, so no dump station...will get that done during the week...weather was cool and windy first 2 days, got below freezing first 2 nights, set heater at 60 and if the heat kicked on I didn't know it...which pleases me very well. Dumped the hot water tank and about 20 gallons still left in fresh water...I must say I was prety impressed...not that I plan on that much boondocking but there are a few state parks I want to try that I've heard good things about...I love my Cruiser

Just joined, and started with my new, but leftover 2011 Sunset Trails. Brought it home, sanitized and freshened the water system, and have already been out this past weekend. This actually isn't my first Travel trailer, and have gone through several over the years, but I'm really excited about this 24RB. Never had a slide before, and already enjoying the room!

It got so nice out that we took a work kamper position in Colorado. It's REALLY NICE OUT there. Be back in WI in the fall.

Just fell into it and made the decision in three days.
Will let you know how it works out.
So far, it's tough watching mule deer, elk, moose and bear out the back window.

Grand Lake's a nice area. We sometimes drive up from home to have lunch. Might do it and look you up.
