New 270BH

Just went from a popup to a ST270BH and luv it. After having lived in the popup for 6 months volunteering at different parks - we decided that a little more comfort would be nice. However, we are carrying our tent camping gear and backpack gear with us for side trips and guests.

Congratulations on the new rig!
I bet after the popup, you don't know what to do with all the space.

Where have you been doing the volunteer work?

Welcome!

Great trailer..and wow...big upgrade. Lloyd is right, from the pop-up to a 270BH, it will feel like a palace!

Good Luck and don't ever hesitate to ask the good folks here any questions. Year of experience in this forum.

Congrats on the new 270BH. There's a few of us that have just bought the same model.

Congrats on your new ST. Just a little bit bigger than your pop up. Been there, done that. Wonder how we survived in the pop up?

Congrats and have fun with the new toy. The wife and I upgraded from an 18' TT to a 28RB and feel like we're chilling in the Taj Mahal. It's amazing what CRs has done with the additional 8'.

Thanks. How does your truck tow? Have you replaced your inside TV mount? While sitting on the couch, we can not see all of the tv - any recommendations for a new mount?

Sorry, missed your post the other day. Truck pulls great. We have a Propride hitch and integrated factory brake controller so towing is flawless.

We've not upgraded on the arm mount as others have. We've not watched much TV while camping. Your right though, the view from the couch can be challenging.

Winter camping sounds great, but nowadays, I am just packing my stuff and willing to visit Australia as soon as possible. I would like to visit the bushfire places to rescue animals. Yeah! I know, we have already lost a number of them, but I want to make my effort. In this regard,
Hopefully, I would able to do some volunteer work there. Mayhap, I would find an RV or alternate in this regard. As you have done volunteer work so your suggestions would be welcomed.

6 year old topic and post #11 above, which resurrected this thread, makes no sense at all relative to the topic. It even has "click-bait" in it. Something's fishy, just sayin'.
